The foundation is seeking individuals interested in giving their time, talents, and skills in; accounting, banking, office and administrative, social media and marketing, project management, graphic arts, grant writing, or other skills or knowledge that you have to offer to a growing non-profit organization. We are also seeking the following officer positions, Chairperson, Vice Chair, Fundraising Committee Chair, Vice President, Treasurer, and Executive Administrative Assistant. If interested, please contact Helen Green at jgfoundation@bellsouth.net, and put the words “Interested in the JGF” in the subject line.

The Jessica Green Foundation is a 501©(3) nonprofit charitable organization founded in 2008 as a legacy in memory of Founder and President, Helen Green’s daughter, Jessica, who was autistic. Our mission is to assist individuals on the Autism Spectrum with access to therapy services, education, safety, and social skills programs to have a more inclusive and self-determined life. Helen helped Jessica to have these necessary tools so that she could understand better how to live within her community and achieve all that she could. Jessica had a determined attitude and gave her all in everything she did, always establishing that she and others with special needs deserved a normal life.

Although Jessica has passed, Helen has continued her journey to help others on the autism spectrum; to make a significant difference in the quality of their lives now and into the future. To continue the vital growth of the organization and impact the lives of even more families and individuals living with autism, JGF would be honored for you to join on this journey to help continue the hope for autistic lives. Together we can make a difference!

Our 501c3 non-profit organization has been featured in over 300 media outlets nationally over the last year. We provide free lawn care to elderly and other people who need it through our volunteer network. In order to build on this momentum, feedback received from peers suggests exploring the option of opening a for-profit division catering to landscapers for people who have the means -- which can contribute towards growing the non-profit still as the central focus?

Just looking to explore the idea and if it's worth the effort. Weigh pros and cons, Steps required, etc.
