- Préparation des envois postaux aux donateurs (préparer les étiquettes, vérifier les listes, etc.)
- Vigie et suppression des doublons

TimberKnoll's Spirit Cove is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in Dandridge, TN. We’ll be moving our headquarters to Hendersonville, NC by the spring/summer of 2025.
We are committed to helping community heroes and children or adults who are battling illness or overcoming trauma with the help of our Newfoundland therapy dogs and Gypsy Vanner horses. These massively breathtaking animals are trained in obedience and are in different stages of therapy registration. These special teams are dedicated to reducing stress, creating joy and helping heal, through their unconditional love, kindness and compassionate spirits. Visiting veterans’ organizations, schools, hospitals, fire and police stations, the Newfies spread hope for those that need it most.
Are you looking to gain experience in the animal care field? We are looking for compassionate and responsible animal care volunteers to join our team. The qualified individual must have a love of dogs, as our team of Newfoundland’s are massive and unique in personality. We need individuals who would be interested in learning from our founders who have over 20 years’ experience in breeding, showing and working dog events including Water Rescue. We are looking for individuals who have their own transportation and can work at least 4 hours a week. We are highly flexible in scheduling.
Major Duties include:
Assist with training activities in obedience, therapy and water rescue work.
Performing a variety of tasks associated with the proper care, feeding and grooming of the Newfoundland’s.
Clean and disinfect dog living area, outdoor habitat by sweeping, washing, raking, and other cleaning methods; remove waste and other material.
Primary Tasks include:
Working under the direction and supervision of Animal Caregiver Leads, the incumbent’s daily tasks will include:
● Monitor the health and welfare of therapy dogs
● Monitor and document training activities, accomplishments and areas of opportunity
● Learn the histories and behaviors of each animal resident
● Attend staff meetings
● Perform other duties as assigned which will support the growth of the organization
Qualifications/Experience:
Applicants must have the ability to do the work of an Animal Caregiver without more than normal supervision and be capable of following all safety procedures, animal care protocols. Applicants must have at least six (6) months of experience working with animals. At least 1 year of college education in Animal Science or a related field of study.

CAN Behavioral Health is hosting our 2nd annual gala: Unmasking the Stigma of Mental Health on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Hilton Garden Inn of Baytown in support of our general mission to help adolescents and adults struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues in East Harris County and surrounding communities.We are seeking volunteers for set up the evening of Friday, February 14, 2025 and on Saturday, February 15, 2025 throughout the day.
On Saturday:
- We will have volunteers setting up from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- During the event we will have various shifts from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm to assist with guest check-in, escorting guests to their tables, assisting with our live & silent auctions, collecting payments, taking pictures of auction winners, and other areas of interest.
- Concluding the event on Saturday evening, we will have volunteers clearing our tables, packing up items to be taken back to CAN's headquarters, loading and unloading vehicles.
Last year, closing out the event took about 2 hours with 8 volunteers.

We're looking for volunteers to assist with our fundraising luncheon. We have several roles that need to be filled within a two day period. The luncheon takes place on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 from 12-3pm. We will also need help the day before (Fri. Feb. 21st) for pre-event prep.The luncheon is our annual fundraiser. The funds raised help us provide free blood pressure monitors to those in need and it helps us raise awareness about heart disease, the number one killer of men and women globally.
On Friday 2/21/25 we're looking for volunteers to help us w/ event set-up. We will assemble gifts and favors and prep the ballroom for the event. This will require lifting and standing.

Who We Are & What We Do:Seeds of Literacy is a unique, award-winning* one-to-one tutoring program for GED Prep and adult education. Tutors work with Seeds of Literacy students to help break a root cause of poverty: illiteracy. For 27 years we’ve served the Cleveland, Ohio, public with FREE GED Preparation and Adult Basic Education tutoring services. During the pandemic, we launched a Virtual Classroom serving adult learners. Once logged on to our Zoom room, students and tutors are matched by staff and sent to breakout zoom rooms to work as pairs. Staff is always available to join or provide assistance if needed.
Requirements:
Tutors do NOT need to be career educators. We have realtors, beauticians, college students, retirees, lawyers, marketing people, and yeah, some teachers. We provide a comprehensive tutor training, ongoing professional development, and all of the study materials. Each student works on his or her own speed with a tutor.
The schedule is flexible. Tutor as often as you want, as frequently as your schedule allows. Even if it is a different time or days each week. Students need tutors Monday through Thursday, Eastern Time: 9am-11am, 1pm-3pm, 6pm-8pm.
The commitment is minimal. Just one tutoring session is 2 hours. That’s just 1% of all the time you have in a week.
