Opportunity Details

We host a summer camp each year in June. The purpose of the camp is to educate children on healthy lifestyle habits so they will make better choices and be more likely to avoid obesity, diabetes and hypertension. We conduct fitness challenges, cooking demonstrations and perform interactive educational lessons on health and wellness topics.
We conduct the camp at various schools in metropolitan Atlanta. The weeks of the camp are TBD each year but are typically in June.
We need volunteers to help us manage the children and complete activities.

Join Natural Restorations & OdySea Aquarium as we remove trash from the Lower Salt River at Coon Bluff Recreation Area. It's important to keep this area free from trash to protect the wildlife and habitat. It's also important to encourage Leave No Trace ethics and leave the area better than we found it.
