Valley Crisis Center, a program under the Alliance for Community Transformations, is excited to announce our upcoming Enchanted Night Gala Fundraiser. This event will be held on October 19th, 2024 at UC Merced Lakireddy Ballroom in Merced, starting at 6:00 P.M.The Enchanted Night Gala promises to be a magical evening filled with fine dining, live entertainment, and a silent auction. Guests will have the opportunity to support our vital services while enjoying an unforgettable night. The event will feature inspiring stories from survivors who have benefited from our programs, highlighting the impact of community support on their lives.
As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our goal is to raise funds and awareness for our critical work in addressing intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Merced County. Valley Crisis Center is committed to providing culturally diverse direct services that empower victims of abuse while fostering a better understanding of these issues through community education.
We believe that every person deserves to live a life free from violence, and as a community, it's our responsibility to support one another in creating and maintaining a safe environment. However, we can't do this alone – we need your help!
We would greatly appreciate your support through volunteers, sponsorship, silent auction donations, or monetary contributions for this event. With your support, we will proudly recognize your name and/or organization in our event materials. Valley Crisis Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible (Federal tax ID 77-0272319).

Thank you for your support in creating a safer community for all.

That means that for too many families, they're struggling with access to food.United Way supports our neighbors in numerous ways, but one way we help out is by giving snack kits to families in need.
And we need your help!
Bring together your team to make snack kits, and you'll also have an opportunity to learn more about the work that United Way does in the community.
Reach out to Connor Walsh at cwalsh@uwkc.org if you're interested in this opportunity for your team, or if you have any questions!
Considerations:
Please note that there is a cost associated with the materials for the kits, $1,500 for 100 kits.
