Alzheimer’s disease is second leading cause of death in California and in Imperial County more than 10,000 people are impacted by this disease and other dementia. Many of those impacted are caregivers that are providing unpaid care to those living with Alzheimer’s.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, families, friends, co-workers, social and religious groups and more, display a combined strength and dedication in the fight against this devastating disease.

This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!

On walk day, volunteers are needed to assist with Set Up, Walker Registration, Water Stations, Route Monitors, Promise Garden, Break Down and more! Various shifts are available.
