Opportunity Details

Gretna Theatre is America’s oldest summer theatre and the only professional theatre in Lebanon, PA. Our mission to grow our community through theatre that engages, transforms, entertains and educates is found through our summer season of Broadway caliber plays and musicals that continue to transport audiences out of their every day lives into something magical.

As Gretna Theatre is a non-profit, we rely heavily on volunteer ushers to support our Box Office staff during busy show nights. Ushers help greet patrons, assist them in finding their seats, scan tickets and hand out programs. After the show begins, ushers are treated to watching a professional show until intermission, when they help assist patrons in finding the bathroom, concession stand and answer any questions. Without volunteer ushers, our Box Office staff would be stretched thin and unable to give our patrons the superb customer service they deserve!

The Top Dogg K9 Foundation is meeting the critical needs of disabled veterans returning to civilian life. We do this by rescuing, training and gifting service dogs to help with the symptoms of PTSD. Our goal is to not only raise funding for the program but to also bring awareness to the epidemic of 22 Veterans each day that commit suicide.

Walk MS is a charity walk series that take place in over 550 locations with more than 330,000 people participating annually. We've been walking since 1988 and to date have raised more than $920 million to drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most.

The success of Walk MS is directly related to the wonderful volunteers who help
make the event a great experience. We are generally looking for set-up, check-in, greeters, route support, rest stop help, photography, finish line celebration and tear down.
