A road race organized to raise funds to help cancer patients in treatment. Non for profit. 100% of proceeds are donated to people in need. The race is volunteer driven, no salaries.
We will need volunteers at water stations, course marshals, setting up, breaking down, and finish line assistance.

United Way of Northwest Alabama presents, Shoals Showdown! We are looking for volunteers to help on the day of the competition. We need several volunteers to help with concessions, sign-ins, t-shirt sales, information booth, team guides and more.
The Shoals Showdown is a competition of life-sized games. Teams of 5 or more will battle one another until a champion team is determined. The games include, but are not limited to:
Hungry Hippo
Bungee Run
Shoot Out
Wrecking Ball
All proceeds benefit 211 Information & Referral.

Opportunity Details

Ventura Walk for Kids is a fun, family-friendly event that helps raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities programs. This is the first annual Ventura Walk for Kids. The funds raised at this event go towards building a Family Room at the Ventura County Medical Center. The Family Room will allow families with critically ill children a place to relax, shower, grab a snack or even get a few hours of sleep...all just steps away from their child's hospital bedside.

Help out at our 30th annual Make Them Shine Gala! Volunteers can help out with volunteer and guest check in and registration, greeting, raffle sales and activities, silent and live auction bidding, merchandise packing, coat check, after party set up and support, as well as gala breakdown. Volunteers must be 21+.

Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to take your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for a child in your local hospital.

Share HOPE with thousands of mini-Hope Heroes recently impacted by Hurricane Michael! The Happy Hope Factory is teaming up with United Way to deliver special Happy Hope Bags to children in communities affected by the recent storm. Project boxes contain all materials required to complete 24 Happy Hope Bags, including a UPS label to send to our United Way partner distribution center.
