MADD - Arizona hosts the Phoenix Walk Like MADD event each fall at the Phoenix Zoo in Phoenix, AZ. This family-friendly day is filled with fun activities including a 5K walk, a Kids' Korner, an educational presentation about MADD and our services, and a lovely tribute to victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving crashes. We are in need of many volunteers to help make this day a HUGE success!

Volunteer opportunities:

Saturday, October 20 (10/20), 5:30 am - 8:30 am: Assist with event set up including vendor areas, rest stops, registration, handing out t-shirts and breakfast items, and various other tasks

Saturday, October 20 (10/20), 7:30 am - 9:30 am: Rest Stop support

Saturday, October 20 (10/20), 8:00 am - 10:30 am: Rout support including manning a rest stop, cheering on walkers at the start and finish line and along the route, assisting with cleanup, and various other tasks

Share a smile with someone special! Join the Happy Hope Factory packaging "Happy Hope Bags" for hospitalized children in your community. Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to ship your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for a child in your local hospital.

Bike MS Great Maine Getaway is a two day charity bike ride raising $350,000 for multiple sclerosis research, and programs and services for those affected by this chronic and too often progressive disease.

-Volunteering at Bike MS is a great opportunity for families, student organizations, athletic teams, companies, and individuals!

-Rest stop volunteers play a key role in the participants' ride. Volunteers will:

Set-up the rest stop site
Hand out snacks and water to riders (supplies provided)
Make lunch sanwhiches or prepare bagles (supplies provided)
Cheer riders on through the difficult route
You're welcome to decorate the rest stop and create a fun, motivational atmosphere!
