We are in need of volunteers to help with the back to school backpack giveaway. the purpose of this giveaway is to ensure that the children will have the items they need to succeed in school. The goal is no-child left behind! This event is extremely important because there are some children who carry their school supplies in plastic bags yet they are brave enough to continue going to school and risk the laughter. Will you help us put a smile on a child's face.

Opportunity Details

The Kisses for Kyle Foundation, now in its 17th year, helps families that have children battling cancer. The Foundation provides funds, as well as gifts and special events, to lend hope and happiness during this difficult time. Our mission is to alleviate some of the massive burden these families are facing.
We will be holding an awareness event and pretzel sale to create awareness and fundraise for the Foundation. We are looking for eager, friendly and energetic volunteers to help us!

We need your help raising awareness about this year's 10th Anniversary Autism Speaks Walk in Richmond! This year, we will distribute thousands of print materials to locations throughout Central Virginia. On July 14th, we're planning to meet at a central location to gather posters and brochures for distribution and head out to key locations in our community!

As a member of the Autism Speaks Street Team, you will help with three easy steps:
- Visit assigned locations
- Ask permission to display an Autism Speaks Walk poster and brochures in a heavily trafficked area in their facility
- Track where you go! Get a business card from their location or snap a photo
