Opportunity Details

It’s through great volunteers that we’re able to support our firefighters and their fundraising efforts for the MDA. Eagle Fire Fighters will be at Eagle Road & State Street on 6/1/18: 9am – 5pm. We will be providing food for all firefighters AND volunteers FREE of charge as well as a t-shirt! We can be flexible if volunteers cannot stay the whole day or would rather take shifts.

The MDA is a non-profit organization leading the fight to free individuals — and the families who love them — from the harm of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases that take away physical strength, independence and life. We use our collective strength to help kids and adults live longer and grow stronger by finding research breakthroughs across diseases, caring for individuals from day one and empowering families with services and support in hometowns across America. The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) pledged to support MDA until a cure was found in 1954 and they have held true and strong in their commitment over these 64 years.

Join Feed My Starving Children, MN Adult & Teen Challenge and Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities to pack 1 million meals for starving kids worldwide!

Our goal is to raise awareness and revenue which will be split equally to support the programs of Feed My Starving Children, MN Adult & Teen Challenge and Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities. We cannot reach this goal without your help!

FMSC is hosting this MobilePack event and providing all meal ingredients.

We would also encourage you to bring food items to support Union Gospel Mission

FMSC is partnering with Metro Transit to provide complementary rides to and from the event with a printed pass.

Opportunity Details

The Family & Friends day brings people of all social, economic and racial backgrounds together for a day of fun and activities. It also helps communicate and promote the summer and fall programs and activities of SONS.
The event will take place Saturday June 9th from 12 noon till 7:30. The day will feature food, music, games, inflatables, pony and train rides, prizes and a long list of other family friendly activities.

They then return home with hardly any savings. Our programs aim to provide them with the necessary financial knowledge and skills to set up their own businesses and create a sustainable future for themselves and their community back home.
