Opportunity Details

Camp Quality is a camping experience for children with cancer. We are the first camp to use the campgrounds we rent. As the first camp we arrive with a great deal of cleaning to do. Our campers are at a higher risk for infections and thus, cleaning the cabins and buildings is very important. We serve over 100 children and each of the areas needs to be cleaned. Cleaning involves sweeping, vacuuming, and general disinfecting.

Salem Christian Homes is a 501 c3 non-profit organization with a mission to offer residential care and training for individuals who have developmental disabilities. We strive to enhance the quality of life of those we serve by assisting and encouraging each resident to achieve his or her optimal functional level. Join us for our 10th Annual Run, Walk & Roll for Individualism on July 7th, 2018, where proceeds from the event will support our ongoing mission to enhance the lives of our 110 residents. This year, we will continue to inspire independence and individualism for not only our residents but for anyone who desires the freedom to express who they are. We are seeking volunteers who will assist us the day of in setting up, working the event, and also cleaning up. This is a great opportunity to be involved with your community.
