Little League provides inclusive, enjoyable opportunities for any child and volunteer to participate in a community-based program that is distinctive, unique, and promotes life lessons beyond the field of play.

This is the sixth year of the Little League World Series, in Livermore. This tournament is for championship teams from all over the world, representing Australia, Europe-Africa, United States, Puerto Rico, Asia-Pacific, Canada and Latin America. This division is for girls and boys aged 11 to 13. Games run from July 29th to August 5th, with the final Championship games televised on ESPN.

Opportunity Details

Crohn’s Warrior Valerie Joly and Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club will be hosting a Fight for the Cure Golf Tournament on May 17, 2018 in Denver, NC. All proceeds will benefit Human Para in their quest to fund innovative research into MAP-driven diseases, which will hopefully lead to a cure for Crohn's disease.

Looking for a group of 5-10 to volunteer for an afternoon, helping with a cleaning and/or yardwork project. This opportunity can be flexible with employee schedules, but most likely should be during business hours.

This opportunity can extend into the evening to help serve meals or host activities for the women and children staying with us.

Your team will be creating and assembling hope bags guaranteed to deliver a boost of happiness and hours of activity.
