Every 4.5 minutes a child is diagnosed with AUTISM, according to the CDC. In fact, autism has become more common in our children than cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined! Join us as a volunteer and help B.I.A.N.C.A. create a brighter future for over 8,100 children with autism in San Diego County & their families.

B.I.A.N.C.A. is a 100% volunteer-run non-profit organization with no paid staff, dedicated to serving children struggling to cope with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We provide help and give hope by providing reliable information, promoting best practices, and offering comprehensive resources for families, practitioners, and communities.

We are looking for volunteers to help during our auction. Please consider volunteering your time to help us raise the funds necessary to continue to help families in our community access critical services and much-needed support.

We are looking for volunteers to help record the winners of the silent & live auctions and distribute the winning items. There is no public speaking involved :)

Parent Aid Child Abuse Prevention Center is a 501c3 serving Pima Co since 1990. Our mission is "Strengthening Families and Preventing Child Abuse". We Care is our annual fundraiser and represents a significant portion of our "donation sleeve". The event is May 12, 2018 at the Marriott Starr Pass. We are expecting 300-400 people. This event is important as the proceeds help us fund our programs which include in-home services, parenting classes, and family workshops. All of our services are free.

Opportunity Details

Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

The WTCA is held on the third Sunday in May each year at Sawyer Point Park in Cincinnati. Registration is at 9:00am and the Walk begins at 10:00am. We welcome volunteers to assist us with set up and other logistics on event day. For more detailed volunteer information, please contact Judy Berrens at 513.392.0325. We need help handing out water, food, course signs and misc tasks. This event is family friendly and more like a festival, with booths, free food and a Kids Zone. Walkers have an option of a 1 or 3 mile route.

Free food and drink to volunteers as well. Come out and join us! Thank you in advance!
