The Message of Hope Foundation is partnering with local community organizers to deliver special "Healing Hope" activity kits to 3,500 students in the Parkland and Coral Springs area. These kits are designed to give a boost of hope and encouragement, and come packed with therapeutic coloring activities, comfort items and a special card to show the recipient that they are cared for by their community.

Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to take your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. Opportunity Details

The National Water Research Institute is seeking volunteers for its annual Children's Water Education Festival. The Festival teaches elementary school students about water, the environment and STEM through structured hands-on learning opportunities.

Volunteers are needed on set up day (3/27) to stuff 8,500 goody bags, set up check in areas and hang signage. Volunteers will be together so this day is especially great for groups.

Volunteers are needed on Festival days (3/28 and 3/29) for a variety of positions, including registration and check in, presenter assistants, Festival guides, lunch delivery, parking lot attendant, sign hanger, and more! Shifts will be assigned based upon availability and the needs of the Festival. Groups may be separated but there are shifts where multiple people can work together.

The Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation, the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium’s charitable arm, will host the 11th annual Raven’s Ball on Saturday, March 24th at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage.

The Raven’s Ball is one of Alaska’s premier black tie parties and dynamic fundraising events, and in 2018 we will continue its tradition of philanthropy that benefits the Foundation’s three key initiatives: improving medical care; strengthening wellness and prevention efforts; and promoting healthy village environments.

This event would not be a success without the help of volunteers! Please consider volunteering your time and skills to the day or night of the event.
