March for Babies, formerly known as Walk America, is a charitable walking event sponsored by the March of Dimes. It began in 1970 as the first charitable walking event in the United States. Proceeds help fund research to prevent premature births, birth defects and infant mortality. March for Babies will take place on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 10am in Asbury Park NJ on the boardwalk. Monmouth & Ocean counties goal is to raise $205,000 for 2018.

Are you an individual or group that enjoys crafts, especially making greeting cards? Maybe you are a member of Stampin Up? Bring Smiles to Seniors is in need of greeting cards, either with messages or blank, home crafted or store bought, to continue to expand our deliveries to nursing homes, assisted & independent living facilities, home bound seniors and those participating in elderly nutrition programs. If your not the crafty type, we also have a card decorating opportunity where we will provide you cards, decorating pens and stickers and only ask of your time and creativity to decorate the cards for us. We will even provide a post paid envelope to return the cards. This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to give back, families that want to use it as a lesson for children or school and civic groups that want to participate.

Interested in learning what it takes to work for an international non-profit? The Samburu Project is a grassroots 501(c)(3) organization based in Los Angeles whose mission it is to provide access to safe, clean drinking water as a foundation for development.

Each semester we offer a limited number of internship positions for students hoping to learn more about global development. The program is geared towards passionate, motivated individuals who want to gain experience working in clean water, women's empowerment, grant writing, community mobilization and marketing. Throughout the semester, interns are empowered pursue a project (or projects) in a field that interests them. Our aim to give students the insight into the many different aspects of non-profit management while also inspiring them to be a voice for change.
