Spend the evening supporting your local parks, wildlife habitat, and working lands across the state by volunteering at the Coalition’s annual fundraiser, Today's Success, Tomorrow's Legacy 2023.We will be meeting on October 11 from 5 to 8 PM at Stoup Brewing's new Capitol Hill location in Seattle, WA, for drinks and food. During our short but meaningful program, we will celebrate our past and present accomplishments while looking forward to the future of outdoor recreation and the inclusive groups spearheading that growth.
Who we are:
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program brings together the voices of a large and diverse group of people who care about Washington’s outdoors. Together, we promote and advocate for state and federal funding for parks, wildlife habitat, and working lands across Washington.
To date, the Coalition has successfully leveraged over $2 billion for over 1,700 parks, trails, wildlife habitat, and working lands projects—all of this funding went to the projects throughout the state. We raise our own funds for our work, and that’s why we need your help with our upcoming fundraiser!
Volunteer tasks will be available for a variety of abilities. Set up and clean up volunteers should be able to lift 15 pounds.
Volunteers are welcome to join for one shift or the whole event. Please contact Isaac (Isaac@WildlifeRecreation.org) for partial-shift options."
Volunteers receive a free ticket to join us for the rest of the event as well.
Food & Drinks will be provided
Shifts:
