We are looking for a finance/accounting volunteer to join our nonprofit organization and manage all financial aspects. As our CFO/director your responsibilities include overseeing cash flow planning, preparing and reviewing reports, audit compliance and board financial literacy. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of finance/banking/accounting methods and the ability to create value for our nonprofit.

Ultimately, you will ensure we manage our resources in the most beneficial way and help maximize our funding.

Responsibilities:
Oversee cash flow management
Track important KPIs and analyze trends of our online funding efforts.
Forecast return on investment (ROI) for current and future programs.
Develop and monitor budgets with committee members.
Inform the board of financial status and funding plans.
Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
Present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to board of directors and aid in grant management efforts.
Represent the company to investors and public officials.
Supervise the accounting department to ensure smooth day-to-day transactions via Quick Books.
Manage volunteers.

We are looking for monthly volunteer for events in any of our cities, El Paso TX, Miami FL, Dallas and San Antonio. BDaysRAllSmiles is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our goal this year is to double the smiles by reaching more shelters, orphanages and programs that work with underserved children.

Opportunity Details

NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties provides free services to local people who are affected by mental health conditions. The annual Walk for Wellness is our largest fundraiser and family-oriented, fun event to support our services. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000; we are well on our way, but need more community support to meet our goal. Participants will walk a 1- or 2- mile course through Secrest Arboretum, and have the opportunity to meet other people impacted by mental health.

Opportunity Details

Donated prom dresses, tuxedos, shoes and accessories are freely provided to local high school students. The prom giveaway alleviates the financial stress low-income families face who cannot afford to buy dresses, shoes and tuxedos for their teenage children attending the prom. Volunteers are needed to help select dresses, shoes, accessories and tuxedos, as well as clean up at the end of the event from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
