Help support our ongoing habitat restoration project led by local non-profit Literacy for Environmental Justice (LEJ). We will focus on planting California native plants to restore the Yosemite Slough area of the park. Ages 8 and older welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult and bring a waiver signed by their guardian). To volunteer at Candlestick Point SRA, you will need to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide negative COVID-19 test results within 72 hours prior to the workday.

Fundraising Appeal for "Rural students computer literacy and life-skills training" program !

In the villages of Karasangal, Kovur and Athanachery, Kundrathur Block, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu, India, we've established computer labs in three middle schools, benefiting over 250 students annually. We've even hired a dedicated teacher to provide essential training.

We need volunteers to spread the word and raise funds for this crucial cause during this Giving Tuesday. By sharing this program with your colleagues and friends, you can make a real difference in these students' lives. Building Care-Kits is a wonderful way to spread joy to our clients while providing a fun way to make an impact. Many clients who move into our homes are in need of basic items such as toiletries and kitchen staples.

Below are just a few of the items our clients need. Collect items, package them in a zip lock bag or reusable cloth bag and we will distribute them to clients across our program locations!

Personal Care Kits: shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, body lotion, sunscreen, chapstick
Kitchen Hampers: baking supplies and pantry essentials (pasta, rice, flour, spices, sugar), tea, hot chocolate, granola bars, cereal
Help us provide essential items to the most vulnerable in our communities.
