Opportunity Details

StreetWise Partners’ goal is to harness the volunteer resources of the private sector to reduce unemployment within under-resourced and overlooked communities of NYC and Washington D.C. Mentors help low-income adults, ages 18+, to develop the professional and soft skills needed to secure employment and financial security.

Structure/Responsibilities:
- 13 weeks of structured meetings on topics such as: goal setting, resume and cover letters, interview prep and networking
- Meetings are 2.5 hours once a week with ongoing weekly communication.
- Mentor provides mentee with informal biweekly follow-up for 9 months after the program ends.
