We’re looking for a Grant Development Manager to join our growing team!
What you’ll do:
- Oversee all aspects of grant research, application processes, and execution to ensure successful acquisition and management of grant funding
- Identify and cultivate donor relationships that align with grant opportunities
- Work closely with our Finance Team, develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's goals and mission
- Organize and develop our sponsorship tiers for potential corporate and individual donors and ideas for gift giveaways to our most prominent donors.
- Actively seek support for our organization from individuals, corporate entities, and foundations to further our mission and expand our impact.
- Cultivate long term relationships with our current donors
- Manage Salesforce CRM platform to consolidate donor relationships
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with grant writing, fundraising, campaign management, event fundraising, or similar
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with donors, volunteers, community members, and other stakeholders who can contribute to fundraising efforts
- Experience in Salesforce CRM Platform is a plus
- Ability to steward relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued and engaged in the organization's mission and activities
- Ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and direct mail campaigns
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal requirements related to fundraising, including donor confidentiality and data protection regulations
- Understanding of fundraising and donor financial management principles and applications
- Possession of excellent organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, philanthropy, marketing, communications, or related field

St. Mary’s is always in need of volunteers who are willing to spend time with the children in the classroom during the morning session. Volunteers can help with art projects, reading, field trips, and many other activities.

Did you know that healthy pollinator populations play a crucial role in maintaining global biodiversity and sustaining our global food systems? In this session, you will delve into the fascinating world of honeybees and other pollinators, learning about their vital role in nature and agriculture. We will also explore how the Gift of Honeybees can empower small farmers worldwide, helping them lift their families out of poverty while contributing to the health of our planet. Participants will take action to support their local pollinators by providing them with food, water, or habitat and/or by signing up to participate in a local pollinator survey. Please note that it may be more difficult for participants outside the U.S. to source materials.Location: This activity can be completed in person or virtually over Teams.
Facilitation: Hosted by a Heifer facilitator.
Duration: 45-60 minutes
Geographic Reach: Heifer International operates in 19 countries, including the U.S., across four continents. The pollinator-friendly flowers, bee hotels, or bee baths will benefit pollinator populations local to the employee.
Funding Required: Optional funding to purchase activity materials.

For 80 years, Heifer International has pioneered sustainable farming systems that benefit smallholder farmers around the globe. Our holistic approach empowers vulnerable communities, ensuring they are integral to transforming global agriculture and improving their lives through this work.Join us to learn how the farmers we work with are building resilient and equitable farmer organizations that will heal ecosystems, protect the planet, and feed the world for generations. Then, write notes of thanks and support to the farmers for their hard work and dedication to growing a better world. The notes will be hand-delivered to farmers at a later date.
Location: This activity can be completed in person or virtually over Teams.

Re.Use.Full is a nonprofit organization that helps people with still-good items find nonprofit organizations, schools and churches that can put them to good use.We're excited to be partnering with the Kansas City Chiefs for another Un-Dumpster Day on Sept. 7, and we need YOU to make it successful! This one-stop donation collection event helps get more gently used items into the hands of our charity partners so they can help more people in the Kansas City area.

Valley Crisis Center, a program under the Alliance for Community Transformations, is excited to announce our upcoming Enchanted Night Gala Fundraiser. This event will be held on October 19th, 2024 at UC Merced Lakireddy Ballroom in Merced, starting at 6:00 P.M.The Enchanted Night Gala promises to be a magical evening filled with fine dining, live entertainment, and a silent auction. Guests will have the opportunity to support our vital services while enjoying an unforgettable night. The event will feature inspiring stories from survivors who have benefited from our programs, highlighting the impact of community support on their lives.
As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our goal is to raise funds and awareness for our critical work in addressing intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Merced County. Valley Crisis Center is committed to providing culturally diverse direct services that empower victims of abuse while fostering a better understanding of these issues through community education.
We believe that every person deserves to live a life free from violence, and as a community, it's our responsibility to support one another in creating and maintaining a safe environment. However, we can't do this alone – we need your help!

United Way of King County knows that our neighbors are doing all they can to keep food on the table, but grocery prices since the pandemic have grown too quickly. That means that for too many families, they're struggling with access to food.United Way supports our neighbors in numerous ways, but one way we help out is by giving snack kits to families in need.
And we need your help!
Bring together your team to make snack kits, and you'll also have an opportunity to learn more about the work that United Way does in the community.

Considerations:
Please note that there is a cost associated with the materials for the kits, $1,500 for 100 kits.
