Ready to turn awareness into action? Join us for an engaging volunteer learning experience that honors the diverse stories, struggles, and strengths of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.

Through this opportunity, you’ll take part in a self-paced virtual workshop and earn your #StopAsianHate Certificate of Understanding—a badge of solidarity that demonstrates your basic knowledge of AAPI cultures, histories, and the ongoing movement to end hate and discrimination.

Why This Matters:

The AAPI community is not a monolith. It includes over 50 countries and ethnicities, each with its own unique experiences. This certificate helps break stereotypes, foster allyship, and promote inclusion both in the workplace and beyond.

What’s Included:

- A short interactive learning module on AAPI identity, culture, and history

- Insight into the rise of anti-Asian hate—and what you can do about it

- Stories from AAPI voices across generations

- A digital certificate you can share to show your support and learning

Perfect For:

- ERGs focused on DEI, multicultural awareness, or allyship

- Individual volunteers who want to deepen their understanding

- Team leaders looking to boost cultural intelligence across their groups

Take a step toward equity. Show that you care. Be informed, not performative.

Sign up today and earn your #StopAsianHate Certificate.

We have been doing a lot of groundwork, but we have realised over past few months, our messaging and even the channels of communication is not in place. Not only it lacks creativity, but it also lacks manpower and consistency that needs to be done to make it impactful. It impacts the retention of beneficiaries.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is pleased to invite you to the fourth installment of Survive Recover Rebuild, our virtual discussion series highlighting the IRC's lifesaving work with individuals impacted by conflict and crisis. In honor of World Refugee Day, this timely conversation will take place on Tuesday, June 17 at 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST.

This special gathering will highlight the resilience and contributions of refugees, as well as the profound uncertainty they currently face. IRC Advisor and Chair Emeritus Sarah O’Hagan will join IRC Senior Director of Asylum and Legal Protection Olga Byrne for a discussion on the far-reaching effects of shifting resettlement policies amid record-high displacement—and how the IRC is responding to meet this urgent challenge.

We will also hear from IRC staff who have experienced displacement themselves. With the support of welcoming communities, they have rebuilt their lives and are now helping others facing similar challenges. From starting their education in a refugee camp in Guinea to resettling in the U.S. after war-inflicted injuries, their inspiring stories underscore the power of resilience and recovery, made possible by the unwavering support of people like you.

Every act of fundraising can spark a lifeline. The Jane Doe Fund supports survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) with emergency housing, legal aid, and trauma recovery services—but we can’t do it alone. We need passionate, purpose-driven volunteers like you to help us raise critical funds and awareness.

Join our virtual volunteer fundraising team and use your creativity, networks, and voice to make a real difference. Whether it’s hosting an online donation drive, organizing a virtual 5K, or launching a social media campaign, your efforts will directly help survivors escape dangerous situations and reclaim their lives.

Why volunteer?

- Over 1 in 4 women in the U.S. experience GBV.

- 1 in 3 survivors lack the financial resources to leave their abuser.
Your energy can help close that gap.

What you’ll do:

- Design and run a virtual or in-person fundraising campaign

- Help amplify survivor stories and spread awareness

- Receive a fundraising toolkit and personalized support from our team

When you fundraise for the Jane Doe Fund, you’re not just raising money—you’re raising hope. Sign up today and be a champion for safety, dignity, and justice.
