CrowdDoing has had more than 4000 volunteers apply to help it. CrowdDoing was co-founded by Match4Action and Reframe it. CrowdDoing has helped more than 24 social enterprises through scoping their volunteer needs. Teams of global volunteers are virtually recruited and deployed with support from project managers, human resource business partners, and interdisciplinary volunteers who adopt through micro-leadership.
Growth Hacking for Systemic Change Volunteers (for CrowdDoing) will help all aspects of growing CrowdDoing leveraging under-utilized techniques to accelerate CrowdDoing's scaling. Parallel mini-teams and teams will help support CrowdDoing in coordination with marketing
We are looking for a Marketing Content Writer to support CrowdDoing with marketing material.
the person would help to write and publish various types of marketing material for our organization’s webpages.

Growth Hacking for Systemic Change Volunteers (for CrowdDoing) should be wiling to help to recruit volunteers through speaking with them in initial intake

* Comfort sourcing volunteers for a role category

* Enthusiasm to ensure effective onboarding of service learning volunteers

* Effectively write position description that excite volunteers to join

* Motivating your team through coaching techniques to keep it productive and growing

* Willingness to think about social enterprise needs and translate these needs into role descriptions

* Comfortable to work virtually

* Interested in collaborating with CrowdDoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team to learn from what social enterprises have expressed interest in with regards to volunteer engagements, and designing volunteer roles to match these constraints

* Bachelor’s degree

* Advanced training of some relevant kind

Content writer uses various Web formatting tools, such as HTML, CSS, and content management systems to help create branding/marketing work forCrowdDoing. Content writer should be able to produce contents such as marketing documents to advertise our products/service and
promoting our content on social media , web forms, articles and templates for CrowdDoing as well as to support marketing campaigns.
Ultimately, you will help CrowdDoing to reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information.To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business.

Some typical responsibilities include:
* Coordinate with marketing and design teams to prepare and publish marketing contents
* Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products
* Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
* Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement
* Update our websites as needed.

Requirements
* Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role
* Portfolio and/or published articles ( Preferred)
* Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (Preferred )
* Excellent writing and editing skills in English

Opportunity Details

Ride for Refuge is a peer to peer fundraising event. It supports 18 charities serving the vulnerable, displaced and exploited, Calgary, Alberta, Canada and around the world.

This position will help sign the route for cyclists, an essential element of safety for the Route.

In teams of 2 or 3 (one guy or very strong woman per team), place route signage for Ride for Refuge. This involves pounding stakes into the roadside and attaching coroplast signs with a drill.

Tools and safety vest provided, vehicle needed for each team.

Opportunity Details

SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup invites volunteers from our community to this data-driven cleanup, to pick up trash in our creeks, parks, lakes, beaches, and coastline. Every year since 2005, ECOSLO coordinates cleanups from San Simeon to Paso Robles, down through Arroyo Grande and Oceano. Last year we removed over 6,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from nature.

This event is a part of California Coastal Cleanup Day (taking place the 3rd Saturday of each September) and holds the distinction of drawing the most participation of any volunteer event over its thirty year history. As County Coordinator, ECOSLO works with the California Coastal Commission to bring out our community in the campaign for healthy waterways, coastlines, and oceans. Last year 1,300 volunteers removed trash and recyclables from 36 cleanup locations throughout San Luis Obispo County. This year we have nearly 50 cleanup sites for volunteers to choose from!

The Jessye Norman School of The Arts will be hosting its 2019 Annual Benefit concert on Sunday October 13, 2019. It is dedicated to the memory of one of our dearest supporters, Ann Johnson. The show begins at 4pm with an introduction to the school and featured performers, Indra Thomas, Andrea Edith Moore, Jamal Moore, Dr. Susan Zhang, and Dr. Rosalyn Floyd. This show will be a New York City moment in Augusta, Georgia!

Volunteers are sought to help seat guests and ensure that everyone finds their way in a helpful and friendly manner. A 10 minute training session will be conducted at 3:30pm on the day of the show.
