Opportunity Details

The annual Red Carpet Event is a fundraiser for Hospice of Southern Illinois; as well as, it is a great marketing opportunity for our organization. We partner with various local professional individuals who volunteer their time to perform the evening at the event. This year our theme is The Ultimate Musical Road Trip. All money raised is used for our mission of enhancing the quality of life for individuals and their family facing a terminal illness. Hospice of Southern Illinois is not-for-profit and relies on the generosity of donors.

Opportunity Details

Volunteer for the Marin YMCA 11th Annual Crab Feed and Silent Auction - January 26, 2019!
This is Marin YMCA’s largest and most fun fundraiser in which 100% of the profit will go straight back into our community in the form of financial assistance. We are here to ensure no one is without the services they need for a happy, healthy life.

The event itself runs from 5pm-10pm, but we need extra help with set up and tear down! A little more specific - we will need individuals for set up, food prep, greeting/raffle/serving/clean up, and tear down.

All volunteers will receive dinner (pizza, sorry, not crab!).

Tentatively, we are looking for help during three time slots*:
1pm-5pm: Set up for Crab Feed and Food/Crab prep
4pm-8pm: Event Prep and Crab Feed dinner duties
6pm-11pm: Crab Feed dinner duties and tear down
*Shifts are subject to change slightly. Volunteers will be notified prior to the event.
