The Champaign-Urbana Walk will be an incredible morning of raising awareness and funds for eating disorder programs, education outreach, and the support of individuals and families. We want to build community, inspire activism, and work with a diverse group of individuals that support NEDA’s goals and interests.

It is critical to connect with as many people as possible because 30 million people suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time in their life. This would be a fantastic opportunity to stand with those affected by eating disorders and foster necessary dialogue about eating disorders.

Share HOPE with thousands of mini-Hope Heroes recently impacted by Hurricane Michael. The Happy Hope Factory is teaming up with United Way-Florida to deliver special Happy Hope Bags to children in communities affected by the recent storm. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble 24 Happy Hope Bags, and a prepaid UPS label will be included to ship completed boxes directly to the United Way’s Distribution Center. All boxes must be completed by November 15th. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for children in need of a boost of hope!

Opportunity Details

Your task is to help any guest who is not tech-savvy to have a comfortable experience with the electronic bidding. Most of this team will roam among guests in the silent auction area. Offer to help place bids or answer questions. Have fun with it and be outgoing! Funds raised through AAHA help ensure skilled and loving care at one of life's most vulnerable times.
