Each year we throw an auction-centered gala to raise money for the Children's Museum. This event takes place at the Traverse City Country Club and features cocktail hour with silent auction, dinner and entertainment, and a live auction. This is a bit fancier than the usual volunteer spot at the Children's Museum; guests will be in cocktail attire. Volunteers can wear more relaxed clothes but will still want to wear something nice at this event. All volunteers at this event get a free dinner!

Our non-profit co-working facility located in the Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield serves the local and visiting professional communities by providing a low-cost professional workspace to do business. During May and June, we also host many graduation open houses in order to support celebrating educational accomplishments. The walls have been through years of magic-erasering through the "covid years" and are in need of fresh coats of paint before local families begin celebrating graduations and taking photos for lifetime memories!

We will have the paint and supplies ready, tunes playing, and snacks and caffeine to keep you going! :)

This annual fundraiser is the biggest fundraising event of the year for International Montessori School. As a nonprofit, our goal is to remain accessible and affordable to as many families as possible. Our gala helps us raise funds to support tuition assistance, existing language, STEM and arts programs, and various school needs.

IMS is the sole trilingual language immersion school in the region- with teachers that come from Gabon, China, France, Taiwan, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and the USA, among others. These amazing teachers help children from different nationalities, races, socio-economic means, and cultures become proficient at writing, speaking, and reading in French, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese. This event is a celebration of milestones reached in our community because of generous partners like you.

We are requesting volunteers to help with check-in/check-out, help monitor registration table during the event, help with miscellaneous needs (moving auction items). Expected attendance: 150 guests. This is a semi-formal event.
