We need a talented volunteer to help us develop a compelling PowerPoint presentation that tells the story of why our program exists—and why it matters now more than ever. Following the closure of 7 regional Office for Civil Rights (OCR) offices, countless underserved K–12 students are left vulnerable to discrimination, neglect, and systemic inequities.

Your presentation will help us educate stakeholders, engage potential funders, and rally new supporters to stand up for students’ civil rights.

What You’ll Do:

- Design a visually engaging, branded PowerPoint presentation (10–15 slides)
- Organize key messages about the issue, our response, and the need for support
- Incorporate relevant statistics, quotes, and real-life examples
- Ensure the presentation can be easily used for webinars, virtual meetings, and in-person events

Why This Matters:

Opportunity Details

The purpose of the Barn and Wellness Support role is to assist with the daily care of therapy horses and help maintain a calm, welcoming environment that supports healing for our clients. This includes barn chores, grooming, organizing supplies, and helping prepare the space for Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) sessions.
This activity is vital because it ensures the safety and well-being of our equine partners—who are central to the therapeutic process—and creates a supportive setting for individuals participating in trauma recovery. Volunteers help bridge the connection between horses and humans by contributing to the stable, structured environment needed for healing to occur.
