Arthritis affects more than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children. They are warriors.

For 70 years, in ONE community after another across the country, The Arthritis Foundation has taken colossal steps to conquer this crippling disease. Our Walk to Cure Arthritis is the largest arthritis gathering in the world, celebrating our warriors, raising funds for research, resources and a cure. Much more than just a walk event, it’s something even bigger than arthritis itself. It brings together warriors, family, friends, food, music, and fun - all for a great cause!

We are need of volunteers to help make this year's Walk a reality. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks and activities from passing out gear, to manning the dog zone, to registration. Most importantly we need your help with set up the day prior to the walk, cleanup and rounding up gear when the event is over. We hope to see you soon!

Opportunity Details

On Sunday, June 3rd, from 11am-3pm, the JCC will be hosting it’s annual Touch-A-Truck event where kids of all ages can see, touch, climb-on and explore their favorite big trucks and vehicles, including police, fire safety, construction and more. The event will also feature a bouncy house, craft tables, music and refreshments including local food trucks serving fresh sandwiches and homemade ice cream.

The Touch-A-Truck is a free event that is open to the entire community. If the weather cooperates, we expect anywhere between 1000-2000 people to attend!

The goal of our Touch-A-Truck is to create a fun and safe family event for the greater Worcester community that is free to attend. Many families in the community
