Tutoria connects people in need with volunteer tutors via our online platform. Volunteers and clients sign up at https // tutoria.io. They select their interests (English tutoring, US Citizenship, or legal aid) and availability. They then connect with one another via direct message. Why Tutoria? There is a strong demand from immigrants for education and legal services around the world. There is also a large supply of volunteers offering to teach such classes. The bottleneck is that connecting immigrants and volunteers is done manually by non-profit staff, who do not have the capacity to provide matching/scheduling services. As a volunteer, you will not only create a social impact by helping us meet this need; you will benefit personally by working closely with a passionate group of volunteer professionals, including Tutoria’s leadership.
The Ask The volunteer would be responsible for
Screening volunteers to ensure there is a skill match.
Explain the time and project commitment effectively.
Communicate volunteer details to Tutoria leaders.

Finance Project Manager Homelessness Prevention/Zero Subsidy Affordable HousingZero subsidy affordable housing is possible. Variations of programs to
make housing accessible work now in the real world. Anti-poverty
impact-investable housing through equity rather than debt is achieved
by separating appreciation value from utilization value of residential
assets. Property rights can be fractured in service and support of
stakeholder interest.
For more than fifty years, Stanford University has made shared-equity
arrangement to provide off-campus housing for faculty and staff.
Stanford buys half of the appreciation value of each home, but not the
use value on behalf of the university through a mortgage participation
agreement structure. Such an opportunity could be offered more
widely by an administered investment pool. Buyers would purchase of
a fraction of a home’s appreciation value, combined with the right to
live in the home. Our goal is a zero-subsidy means for scalable
provision of affordable housing inspired by the way Stanford has
supported off-campus faculty/staff housing.
We suggest that there are investors who could find this kind of impact
investment in real estate viable based on appreciation value, but not
use value, during the lives/residence of tenant/owners. Wide use of
this innovation in housing affordability could provide access to homes
for a substantial fraction of the population who cannot currently be
housed in existing markets within regions with growing economies set
in geographically limited spaces.
By bringing equity sharing agreement to scale, market rate capital can subsidize
affordability anywhere in which land constraints are significant barriers, such as
islands, bays and due to topography such as mountains. Under such conditions,
where home appreciation proves steady historically, pooled equity is 100 times
more leveraged - as market rate capital becomes self-subsidizing when invested
in affordable home fractional ownership.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ir2zHUPWWcGG1Yc6omBxkAbhqc1CXGPu/view?usp=sharing
