We ride to save lives, stop new infections, and advocate for those who have no voice. HIV/AIDS is still an active threat to all of us. While we have gained better tools to fight this virus, the epidemic is not over. Many communities face obstacles to care and treatment, and the stigma of HIV/AIDS is still pervasive.
One of the many things that make the AIDS Red Ribbon Ride such a unique and special event is the scenic route that takes us through the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of New York and the Genesee River Valley. Our routes feature stunning views, historic destinations, and beautifully groomed vineyards.
This year, we need volunteer support at our rest stops, at the beginning and endpoints with food distribution, route marking before the ride begins, and support-and-gear vehicles to help the riders throughout their ride.

Join us for a night filled with fun and delectable desserts! Girl Scouts of Central Illinois is excited to host Desserts First on Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Par-A-Dice Hotel.

We've challenged some of the area's best chefs to create desserts inspired by Girl Scout Cookies. The best part? We promise not to tell anyone if you eat Dessert First!

This fun-filled fundraiser will also include dinner stations, silent auction, prize wall, live entertainment, and a culinary competition with local chefs, creating desserts inspired by Girl Scout cookies.

Funds raised through the event will support local Girl Scout programs that teach essential life skills in STEM, financial literacy, civic engagement/advocacy, education, health/wellness, and the arts. With over 4,000 Girl Scouts in Peoria alone, your generous financial support is essential in helping us provide and expand these programs that cultivate girls’ inherent leadership potential, confidence, and character to shape the future.

The Foundation Fighting Blindness is looking for a photographer to take event photos for our 15th Annual Michigan VisionWalk on Saturday, May 14, 20202 at Kensington Metropark, North Martindale 'C'. Volunteer should arrive by 9:30 a.m.

Registration starts at 9 a.m.
The Walk begins at 10:30 a.m.

We would like 3-5 photos the day after the event for a thank you email/social media post and the rest of the photos within two weeks.
