Opportunity Details

We are looking for volunteers to join us for our annual Winter Wine & Stein on Wednesday, December 5th from 4:30-9pm. Vendors from across Mid-Michigan will be here offering samples of beer, wine, liquor, and food while guests are able to stroll through the zoo enjoying our holiday lights.

Volunteers will be helping as Beverage Pourers. You will be assigned to a vendor booth, and help pour product for guests to sample. No need to be a beer/wine connoisseur! As long as you can poor a beverage into a cup, you are more than ready to take on this role. All volunteer positions are indoors, so you will be able to stay nice and warm regardless of the weather outside.

Due to handling alcohol, ALL volunteers in attendance must be 21+ years old!

Opportunity Details

Advocates for Adolescent Mothers is seeking jolly, energetic, and Christmas-loving volunteers to help us distribute gifts to young moms [and their children].

Our Holiday Party is part of our Holiday Drive Program, which has provided toys and outerwear to homeless and underprivileged Chicago youth for Christmas since 2011.

Volunteers may stay as long as they like.

Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to ship your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. Share HOPE with thousands of mini-Hope Heroes recently impacted by Hurricane Florence! The Happy Hope Factory is teaming up with United Way-North Carolina to deliver special Happy Hope Bags to children in the coastal Carolina communities affected by the recent storm. Teams are needed over the next four weeks to assemble, pack and ship up to 5,000 Happy Hope Bags. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble 24 Happy Hope Bags, and a prepaid UPS label will be included to ship completed boxes directly to the United Way’s distribution center. All boxes must be completed by October 19th. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for children in need of a boost of hope!
