While the in-person portion of this program is on hold, we are creating a database of pre-recorded videos that will be uploaded to Ollie’s Orchestra’s YouTube page so infants, children and their families can access them at any time. We are also working on coordinating virtual music sessions for children while inpatient. BarbaraCares is looking for volunteers to join us this Spring, Summer, or Fall for our mobile #MammogramsMatter outreach initiatives. We are providing free screenings to individuals at-risk and uninsured to help save lives.

Volunteers will assist with providing information, conducting sign-ups and helping facilitate onsite engagement.

The Harbor Dish is a mobile community cafe, and we are looking for experienced grant writers to add to our team. You would need to be able to craft proposals to secure funding for our organization. Our organization relies completely on donations.

You would need to be able to research sponsors to find those that match our goals and have funded similar projects. You must be able to understand the conditions of the grant and be able to show how the Harbor Dish would meet those conditions. Details are very important.

You will need to be able to keep records and reports. Data analysis and strong organizational skills are essential.

We have a small team put together now, but we are in need of more experienced volunteers to help with the workload we have now so that we can expand our nonprofit.

The Harbor Dish is a mobile community cafe. We are looking for experienced fundraisers that have excellent leadership skills and networking abilities. You will be responsible for building good relationships with prospective donors and clients. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to delegate tasks. You should be well organized, proactive, and have the ability to inspire those around you.

You should stay informed on marketing strategies and be comfortable doing research. You should be able to write, submit and upload press releases as needed. You should be able to write funding proposals and submit them to potential donors, as well as be able to prepare budgets for these projects and coming up with ingenious ways to raise awareness.

You should be able to organize and attend our events and be able to network. You should be able to have a good relationship with the people in our organization, as well as the public and the media. You should be able to manage a team and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Harbor Dish relies completely on donations for everything we do, so fundraising is a key component.
