Sign up to speak on a virtual or in-person Panel or assist in leading a Work-Based Learning Experience and inspire our students. The in-person opportunities are available in the Seattle, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. areas. IGNITE can host several Microsoft events in October. There are up to 8 volunteer slots per Panel or Work-Based Learning Experience. The events are generally 90 minutes in length. If supplies are needed for the activity you wish to host, we ask that Microsoft bring the supplies or ship them to the school. Help bridge the gender equity gap in STEM today!

Girl Scouts of Central Illinois proudly presents Diamonds, Desserts & Distinction, its signature fundraiser within the greater Champaign area. This is our eighth year of the current event and our 32nd in honoring Women of Distinction.We look forward to gathering again amidst our Flora Gems Sweet Surprise Wall, delicious cookie-inspired desserts competition among local chefs, signature cookie-inspired cocktail, sincere recognition of our honoree, and more!
This year we will honor Illinois Coach Shauna Green as our Woman of Distinction. In two historic years, Coach Green has led the Illini to back-to-back winning seasons and postseason appearances; two AP Top-15 upsets; and the program's first championship. Thus, we so look forward to recognizing Coach Green as our 2024 Woman of Distinction. She epitomizes courage, confidence, and character for Girl Scouts to aspire toward as leaders.
Funds raised through the event will support local Girl Scout programs that teach essential life skills in STEM, financial literacy, civic engagement/advocacy, health/wellness, and the arts.

This year, EveryYouth will host our Sleep Out on 7 November at Museum of the Home in London.Last year 136,000 young people in the UK approached their local authority because they were homeless or at risk. That’s one young person every four minutes.
Every young person should be able to have a bright independent future and we are committed to making that happen. Sleep Out raises vital funds and awareness so that EveryYouth can continue supporting some of the most marginalised young people in the UK.
Whilst Sleep Out doesn’t aim to replicate homelessness, it will give you genuine insight into the reality faced by so many young people every year – the lack of somewhere safe to rest their heads.

We are looking for volunteers for our 27th Annual Run, Walk & Roll, which will take place on SUNDAY, September 15th, at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. We need around 100 volunteers on Sunday (anytime between 5 am - 12 pm) PLUS around 24 volunteers for Saturday, September 14th (anytime between 9 am - 8 pm). Opportunity Details
Community service to Camp Rhonda and surrounding camps. We will supply food, drinks, and etc; weeklyCamp Rhonda is a homeless encampment that was named after one of the residents that lived there. She passed away in 2021. It used to be at a central location, but after sweeps by the City of Dallas, it became scattered to several locations. On Thursdays we have either morning service between 12:00pm-2pm or afternoon service 4:30-6:30pm. We go to the camps and provide lunch, and clothes, shoes, hygiene, sleeping bags, firewood, tents and etc.
Starting point is 2700 Gould St in South Dallas. Then we will finish in the parking lot across from Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young Street, Dallas, Texas 75201.
