Expectations and Opportunities - It is the Chapter Board that sets the philanthropic tone of the organization. Philanthropic transformation begins with that leadership, and it is fitting that board members embrace personal giving, getting and facilitation of relationships to the fullest extent possible. A 100 percent commitment of the Board to generous philanthropic giving will set an example for the outside world to make the Alzheimer’s Association one of their charities of choice as well. To accomplish this, all board members are expected to work toward achieving or exceeding goals in support of the Association’s mission.

Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation is the UK’s leading bursary charity providing children from under-served communities and from the care system opportunities to attend independent schools.

As a charity working with and for young people we are dedicated to ensure the young people we support are involved in decision making and strategy setting, the 'young people's voice' is very relevant and important. To enable this participation we have convened a Youth Advisory Board to ask questions such as ‘how was it for you’ ‘how can we do it better’ ‘how can we engage you more’.

We would be very grateful to get some insight and advice from someone who has knowledge of customer insights or customer/marketing to help us work more efficiently and better be able to engage the young people constructively. To set up feedback loops and a Youth Advisory Board that feels invested and involved.

Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation is the UK’s leading bursary charity providing children from under-served communities and from the care system opportunities to attend independent schools.

This opportunity is to provide weekly, monthly, or quarterly support (depending on time available) to our communications team consisting of one full time employee with a one day a week focus on comms, alongside a freelancer ‘SpringBoarder’ alum who works on Wednesdays. The focus would be to recommend communications strategies to support maintaining and improving the existing online presence, including website and social media content. (I would say one day a month would be ideal). This would take place online or in person depending on where the volunteer is based.

This would be incredibly valuable support to the team who are dedicating as much time as they can on the communications, however because of resource constraints we are aware that we could achieve much more with your help and expertise!
