The Belton Educational Foundation hosts a fundraising Gala at Loch Lloyd Country Club each year as our primary fundraiser. We are looking for volunteers to help us with decorating and setting up for the Gala during the day (any time 9:30am to 12:30pm) and volunteers to help us with welcoming guests and working behind the scenes the evening of the event (5:00pm to10:00pm). For event planning purposes, we need volunteers who can commit to the event by August 16. Those volunteering during the evening event will be required to wear professional dress.

Opportunity Details

The Belton Educational Foundation is looking for volunteers to help us prepare printed materials for Back to School events (PTA meetings, Open Houses, Staff PD, etc). The goal is to cut, affix labels, and fold printed informational materials that we will share with school staff and the community at upcoming events.

On July 25, 2019, we are hosting a vendor sale at Guncotton Coffee in Hopewell, just down Route 10 from the Chester store and down 295 from the Mechanicsville store. We have 22 vendors coming to sell their goods and we will need volunteers to assist in set-up, break-down, and event assistance. We would be glad to have a Kohls banner at the event if we receive volunteer support!

Family and Community Resources, Inc. (FCR) is holding fundraiser 5K walk and cookout Saturday, October 19, 2019 for Domestic Violence Awareness month at DW Field Park in Brockton, MA. All funds raised will be put to immediate use to help the survivors of domestic violence served by FCR.
We are looking for volunteers to help set up various tables (water, food/snacks, arts & crafts), as well as, man water table along the route, help guide and cheer people on along the way, help with kids activities - face painting, arts& crafts - and to help take down the event.

Individuals caught in an abusive relationship face overwhelming difficulties and must overcome tremendous obstacles to leave the situation. FCR began serving survivors of domestic violence (DV) in 1977. Our approach to victim care is trauma informed, client centered, and collaborative.

When you volunteer, your participation and fundraising fuels our work to care for and support survivors of trauma and violence at home, school and in their community.
When you volunteer, you are helping to put an end to Domestic Violence.
