We run team corporate volunteering days for up to 50 people in community green spaces needing urgent support. We have sites all over Greater London.

The best way to get a feel of what we offer is to watch our testimonial video from MUJI's day with us earlier this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ineTjSXQoNQ

In short we manage the entire day from registration, the gardening itself, to the wrap up:

- Organising - We take the headache out of registering your colleagues with our forms
-Timings - Days last from 9.30 am to 4 pm (max), incl. 1-hour lunch break.
-Health & Safety - we give a H&S briefing, provide all gardening tools and gloves on the day. Our team of Gardening Team Leaders are also First Aid trained.
-A fun, educational, and productive gardening day. We love how much we always get done and we make sure we have a good time doing it.
-Expect "hands-on"! Practical activities we might be doing together including pruning, digging, planting flowers, shrubs and trees, creating bug hotels and wildlife habitats, improving soils, turning compost, litter picking and sowing seeds.
-Photos- we will provide you with team and individual shots to remember our day together.
-'Golden Gloves' Awards ceremony at the end of your session gives us a chance to say thank you.
-Marketing & CSR wrap up - we provide photos, infographics, and concise reports for your CSR / ESG reporting, annual wrap up, and social media. We occasionally get a 'Feel Good' press story in - and we'd love to involve you in these also.

Fee for the day:

We charge £990 for up to 12 people joining us for a full day (9.30am - 4.30am). This covers our organising time, tools, gardener's fees, plants, etc.

If you would like to stay for a party with the residents we ask you to bring the cakes and drinks for yourself on the day.

All profits are channelled back into looking after the sites and communities we support.

We are sending volunteers AS A PRIORITY to Sheltered Housing blocks across London. Read below what an example of such a day might look like:

Lucy Brown House Sheltered Housing.
Address: 27 Park St, London SE1 9EG.
10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars or London Bridge. Right behind Borough market.

Capacity
We have enough room (and to-do!) for 24 individuals to volunteer for a full day. We always include a party with the residents after the day of gardening.

Suggested Timings (though we can be flexible)

9.15am arrival for 9.30am start.
9.30am-12.30 Gardening (with tea break)
12.30-1.30pm Lunch break - borough market is 3 minutes walk away. We don't provide lunch, but you can eat it and play a game of pool at our site. Most teams go to Franco Manco together, 5 mins away.
1.30pm - 4.30pm Gardening afternoon session with tea break
4.30pm - 6.30pm Optional party with residents (tea and cake and whatever else you wish to eat and drink!)
