We are looking for energetic and cheerful people to help with various tasks at a fun, festive charity event. Responsibilities may include helping with registration, handing out t-shirts, helping walkers along the walk route by holding signs and cheering on walkers as they complete the course. We are excited to create the Next Gen Council and are currently seeking candidates to serve as its founding members. The Next Gen Council will be a team of young professionals who engage with Byte Back and contribute their skills to help the organization expand the reach of its services. Byte Back will work closely with members to develop their capacity as leaders and ability to participate on a high-functioning nonprofit Board of Directors.Role/responsibilities of Next Gen Council Members include:
- Collaborate with Byte Back’s staff and Board of Directors to identify and tackle the organization’s toughest challenges
- Build local/national awareness of and excitement for Byte Back
- Volunteer at least 8 hours and contribute or raise at least $100 per year
- Attend at least 7 monthly NGC meetings per year and a majority of NGC-hosted events
- Terms are 1 year long and subject to reappointment by the NGC Chairperson

Empowerment Resource Center will host this health fair at Hurt Park, located at 100 Edgewood Avenue, NE in Atlanta Georgia.This is truly exciting and we will need all the help we can get! The Take Charge. Get Tested Health fair is designed to encourage citizens to receive voluntary HIV testing and learn their HIV status. Are you good at entertaining children? Are you skilled in making friends with children.....especially children with special needs? Do you have a special skill that will bring a smile in a child's face?We are looking for volunteers to help out in our Silent Voice' booth to entertain Deaf children and their siblings. We will be making crafts, buttons, and other various activities like face painting to bring fun in to their day and inspire them.
If you have supervising skills to manage the activities in our busy booth, we need you too.
If you know how to sign (American Sign Language) even a little bit, that would be awesome. If you don't sign, no worries, our student interpreters will make the event and the communication accessible for you. You will get to learn more about the Deaf community and build an appreciation for their skills and aspirations.

Outreach Ambassadors are responsible for conducting outreach activities, in an effort to build awareness and attract new partners, collaborators, and supporters to Music Heals. The Ambassadors work with the Community Outreach Specialist and local partners to support existing opportunities as well as assist in developing new local partnerships. Outreach takes place at events ranging from Community Festivals to Car-Free Days; small and large scale Music Festivals, and partner events.Music Heals is an all inclusive, safe, and accessible volunteer environment.
