The organization is called Shared Beat. Our mission is “creating opportunities through sustainable wellness programs and health career scholarships”. The organization provides annual physicals and follow-up care, along with vision, dental and hearing screening to over 1400 disadvantaged students living in and around the Guatemalan City Dump area and poor rural areas. Additionally, Shared Beat supports 10 Guatemalan students through our Health Career Scholarship Program. These students are studying to be doctors, nurses, physical therapists, psychologists and dietitians. Not only does this program provide financial assistance to these deserving young people, but also trains the Guatemalan medical professionals of the future, leading to quality sustainable healthcare for the country. The event is scheduled to take place at the Random Beer Garden located at 11 Upper Cibolo Creek Road, Boerne Texas 78006.
We are looking for a total of 15 to 20 volunteers to help us that day with event check-in, parking lot assistance, food & bar service (food and bar certification required for this volunteer job) and just general help. We will gladly verify the volunteer hours through a letter or any forms that might be required. This is a fun event benefiting a worthy cause.

We are seeking a group of passionate volunteers to help us make a difference in the lives of those who are most in need.The goal of this activity is to provide a free spring clean-up service for elderly, veterans, and disabled individuals who may not have the physical ability or resources to do so themselves. The service will include lawn mowing, trimming, and other basic yard maintenance tasks to help improve the quality of life for these individuals and their families.
