The Innovation Fellowship (IF) supplies adult learners with in-demand technology skills in cyber security, data science, and web development. This year-long program has fellows complete portfolio projects, and obtain technical certifications.

We are looking for 3 volunteers to join us for a 2-hour speaking session, who can represent our three tracks (cyber security, data science, web development). The speakers will be split into separate breakout rooms to talk to fellows who are studying the same track. As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to participate as a speaker in our AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions, where you’ll share your career insights and success strategies with learners. You’ll help them understand how project management principles apply across different roles and industries, offering real-world advice and guidance.

The Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship (KKCF) provides high-school students with paid opportunities to develop employable skills in STEM. This program is free, and offers participants a stipend during their summer instruction.

We are looking for one volunteer to lead a 1-hour workshop. One volunteer will guide fellows in writing a compelling personal essay, cover letter, and/or personal statement. Fellows will be able to strengthen their communication skills by framing their journey in industry-accepted language. This workshop will help develop a strong personal narrative that the fellows can share with future employers.

We are looking for up to 90 volunteers to join us for a 2-hour behavioral mock interview session. As a volunteer, you’ll create a realistic interview scenario to help our fellows refine their interpersonal skills. During this event, volunteers will take the role of an employer or recruiter, and provide constructive feedback on how the fellows conduct themselves during interviews. This exercise reveals areas for improvement, and offers a safe environment to experiment and learn.

As a volunteer, you’ll station break-out rooms on Zoom to hold a series of one-on-one conversations with our fellows. These conversations are timed, and meant to encourage questions. Consider topics relating to careers in technology, speaking with interviewers, and networking. Advice and insight from volunteers helps our fellows to understand how they can pursue a career in technology.

Tables are pre-set with themes and a small collection of 3-4 questions about that theme. Students rotate tables so they can speak to a variety of people about several topics. Volunteers and fellows encouraged to generate a QR code to their Linkedin for easy connections.

The Knowledge House is partnering with Synchrony Skills Academy to "Spring Forward" at our Behavioral Mock Interview event! We are looking for 20 volunteers to join us for a 1-hour behavioral mock interview session. Volunteers will guide TKH Fellows through mock interviews, offering personalized feedback and helpful tips to boost confidence and career skills.
