Help Onward Hope staff set up, clean up, and facilitate the Transformations Center Grand Opening event! The more help we have, the quicker set up and clean up will go and the better our event will be.Onward Hope is a youth-focused, community-based non-profit and foster care and adoption agency, and we are the only alumni-founded and run organization in the state. Our mission is empowering and connecting youth and families today for a strong future tomorrow, and our vision is to enable at-risk youth to realize their full potential while becoming the leading transition, preservation, and permanency services corporation in Arizona.
We are opening a community center, the Transformations Center, for young people aged 14 - 29 that have experienced foster care, juvenile justice, or other systems. The Center will act as a fun, safe, and effective space for youth to learn & gain life skills, make meaningful connections with peers, and achieve their greatest potential. With the help of community leaders, partners, and volunteers, the Center will provide a wide variety of numerous opportunities that will change hundreds of lives for years to come.

À Mon Shack, nous offrons, à nos 18 locataires et à toute la communauté estrienne, une programmation d'activités et ateliers diversifiés. Nous offrons des ateliers créatifs (DIY bricolages, art-thérapie, sculptures en argile), des ateliers sportifs et de remise en forme (yoga, autodéfense, randonnées en montagne, bootcamp), des ateliers de gestion du budget et des impôts, des ateliers sur l'estime de soi et la santé mentale (trousse de survie à l'anxiété, pleine conscience, groupes de discussions) ainsi que des ateliers de cuisine de groupe.Vous aimeriez organiser une ou des activités au sein d'un organisme communautaire? Vous avez des habiletés ou connaissances que vous aimeriez mettre à profit auprès de nos jeunes adultes de 18 à 35 ans? Nous recherchons des bénévoles comme vous, qui ont des idées d'activités et ateliers à nous proposer, afin de nous aider à diversifier notre programmation! Nous sommes ouverts à toutes vos propositions d'activités et elles peuvent être réalisées à distance ou directement sur place au sein de l'organisme.
Nous possédons déjà des équipements diversifiés pour tous projets artistiques (crayons, peinture, toiles, pinceaux, papiers, argile, etc.) ou sportifs (aire de méditation extérieure, paniers de basket-ball, ballons divers, équipements de jeux extérieurs, etc.) et vous serez accompagné de l'un de nos intervenants lors de l'animation de votre atelier, au besoin.

MUSIC IS THE ANSWER – macht mit und werdet Teil unserer Parade-Crew 2023!Die „Rave The Planet Parade“ ist eine politische Demonstration und die größte Techno-Parade Deutschlands. Mit ca. 300.000 Teilnehmenden fand sie 2022 zum ersten mal statt. Auch 2023 werden wir wieder für den Erhalt der elektronischen Musikkultur, die Anerkennung ihrer kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Leistungen sowie den Frieden in der Welt demonstrieren.
Doch um die Parade durchführen zu können, sind wir, die rave the planet gGmbH, auf die Hilfe von Freiwilligen angewiesen. Nur mit einem großen, motivierten Team und jeder Menge helfender Hände, können wir dieses Projekt stemmen.

🦺 ORDNER:INNEN
Ordner:innen sorgen für den reibungslosen Ablauf der Demonstration. Sie achten zum Beispiel darauf, dass alle Auflagen und Vorgaben eingehalten werden, koordinieren die Abstände zwischen den Floats, holen Demonstrierende von Laternen oder Ampeln herunter bzw. führen diese auf die Strecke zurück, haben die allgemeine Sicherheitslage im Blick und melden mögliche Gefahrensituationen oder Straftaten etc.
🤝 AWARENESS TEAMS
Awareness bedeutet Achtsamkeit, füreinander da zu sein. Wir möchten, dass die Parade für alle Teilnehmenden ein Safe Space ist, in dem sie sich wohl, willkommen und sicher fühlen. Unser Awareness Team setzt sich für einen respektvollen Umgang miteinander ein, wirkt deeskalierend, hilft Betroffenen im Fall von Diskriminierung , Benachteiligung oder anderem grenzüberschreitenden Verhalten. Es kümmert sich außerdem um Menschen, denen es körperlich oder psychisch nicht gut geht, zum Beispiel in Folge von übermäßigem Alkoholverzehr oder sonstigem Substanzgebrauch. Damit stellt es eine Art Brückenglied zwischen den Demonstrierenden und den Sanitätsdiensten dar, die in medizinischen Notfällen umgehend vom Awareness Team hinzugerufen werden.
💶 SPENDENTEAMS
Rave The Planet ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation. Alle unsere Aktivitäten und Projekte werden zu einem großen Teil aus Spenden finanziert. Deshalb ist unser Spendenteam natürlich auch direkt auf der Parade im Einsatz, um Zuwendungen von den Teilnehmenden zu sammeln.
🌳 ECO TEAM
Eines der größten Probleme bei Demonstrationen und Events ist der Müll, der durch sie entsteht. Wir nehmen unsere Verantwortung an dieser Stelle sehr ernst. Deshalb achten wir schon bei der Parade darauf, dass möglichst wenig Müll anfällt und dieser ordnungsgemäß entsorgt werden kann. Am Sonntag danach organisieren wir deshalb den „Rave The Planet Parade – CLEANUP DAY“, bei dem wir den Tiergarten wieder sauber machen.
Der Berliner Tiergarten ist seit Jahrzehnten der Ort, an dem wir Raver den Traum einer besseren Welt leben. Deshalb möchten wir diesem besonderen Fleckchen Erde unseren Respekt zollen und ihn mit dieser gemeinsamen Aufräumaktion würdigen und pflegen.

We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our team at RISE Travel Institute. You will be working with our Manager of People and Culture and Assistant Manager of People and Culture and will be responsible for supporting volunteer recruitment, engagement, and other HR projects. If you have the passion and knowledge and would like to join our team in mainstreaming sustainable travel through education, we’d be happy to have you on board.Responsibilities
• Provide support in volunteer recruitment, on-boarding, engagement, retention, recognition, and exit processes
• Prepare documents relating to RISE HR and DEI policies and procedures
• Support in responding to internal and external HR & volunteer related queries in a professional and confidential manner
• Work with the Executive Director, Manager of People and Culture and Assistant Manager of People and Culture in implementation of HR and DEI programs
• Support with other HR and DEI Projects, as and when required
• Attending check ins and HR and DEI related meetings as and when required
Requirements
• Completed education in Business Management/Business Administration
• Previous experience (1-2 years) as an administrative assistant/HR assistant or in human resources/volunteer management is preferred
• Strong editing and writing skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with using Slack, Google Docs, and Gmail
• Able to communicate and follow process to meet deadlines and schedules
• Well-organized and responsible for managing confidential data including staff data
Time Commitment
The Human Resources Administrator is expected to commit 4-5 hours per week.

Fellows not only receive one-on-one mentoring with experienced researchers in Latin American policy, society, and climate change, but are also granted access to our unique online coursework, which provides foundational knowledge of climate science and interdisciplinary research techniques.
As climate change challenges increasingly affect vulnerable communities in developing countries, our new program seeks to promote healthy, sustainable, and resilient societies in the region. This is a good opportunity for marketing professionals at any stage of their career to work in collaboration with an initiative dedicated to improving sustainability across the continent through education.
This position is managed from Washington, DC but work can be conducted remotely.

That is why every year we unite for our cherished Together in Teal Run/Walk event. This event provides an opportunity to honor all those in our community who have been impacted by ovarian cancer and helps raise awareness about the disease. From water station management, to directing traffic, to helping with tent activities, we rely on day-of volunteers to help the event run smoothly.
