Alberta casino events provide a unique and impactful opportunity for charities to raise essential funds while engaging with their community. These events are hosted at licensed casinos across the province, where registered charities like Heart & Stroke participate in the operation of casino table games over a two-day period. In return, participating organizations receive a portion of the casino's revenue, allocated through the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) charitable gaming model.

Heart & Stroke uses funds raised through these casino events to support life-saving research, education, and health promotion programs, helping to create healthier lives free of heart disease and stroke for all Canadians.

Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of these events. As a Heart & Stroke casino volunteer, you’ll join a small, friendly team to fill important roles such as cashier, chip runner, or count room staff. No previous experience is necessary—training is provided on-site. Shifts are scheduled in advance and typically last 4-6 hours. These events are a fun and rewarding way to contribute to your community and directly support Heart & Stroke’s mission. Participants need to be 18+.

By donating your time, you’ll help raise vital funds to save lives and support families impacted by heart disease and stroke. Join us and make a difference!
