Essential Tasks:
Be passionate about conservation, nature, and have an interest in promoting and engaging diverse communities
Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission - specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done

Skills & Competencies:
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

1. Maintain the central databases, ensure high performance, and respond to request from front-end

2. Create a secure APIU for our web and mobile applications

3. Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability

4. Implement security and data protection

5. Design and implement data storage solutions

Skills & Competencies:
- Experience in API architecture, design and implementation

- Experience in managing host environments, implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers and environments

- Proficiency with Git. SQL database, and back-end programming languages

- Excellent problem identification, problem solving, and analytical skills

Volunteering on the Cotswold Canals is a seven days a week opportunity.
