Opportunity Details

We are a small grassroots volunteer-run non-profit trying to end the epidemic of suicide that has hit our community. You would be helping us grow our non-profit and assist us with our mission.

We are seeking goal driven individuals who have a passion for suicide awareness and prevention who want to partner with us in our purpose and mission. JEM needs a graphic designer to help us grow, reach the community, design and create digital images for social media, T-shirts, brochures, and other marketing materials.

We are a small grassroots charity and believe in partnerships. We need your help. We can’t do this alone and are seeking those that have a passion for suicide prevention and awareness. We are excited to meet you!

Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and text. Duties may include:

Conceptualize and develop illustrations and other designs using software

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval

Work with JEM leadership on design concepts

The JEM Foundation is an all volunteer run 501(c)(3) whose mission is to prevent suicide, support positive changes to mental health care, provide individual support along with those caring for someone with a mental illness, all while removing the stigma that surrounds it.

We are seeking a volunteer and partner to help us with our social media. We need help with multiple platforms. Duties include:

Creating and publishing content including images, videos, written posts, etc. that builds connections and encourages people to take action legislatively, monetarily, and throughout their communities

Increase awareness

Assist in building our followers

Build brand awareness

The ideal candidate is someone with experience who has a passion to prevent suicide. Our pledge is to support you both personally and professionally. This would include referrals, both written and if necessary, voice to voice.

Opportunity Details

We will pass out backpacks full of school supplies to children in need. In addition to backpacks, we will have free food, games, and clothing.

This New Year’s at the Jansen Art Center, we’re holding our 5th Annual Manhattan New Year’s Eve Gala and Fundraising Event.
Manhattan New Year’s Eve is one of the J’s two major fundraising events of the year. Building on the success of last year’s event, guests will take part in a silent and live auction, featuring dinner and entertainment. As a non-profit arts organization, the Jansen Art Center depends on the support of these fundraisers to provide year-round programming
