Opportunity Details

This is the main annual fundraiser for Believing Beyond - The Nolan Weber Foundation. At Believing Beyond, the goal is to improve the lives of families with children facing catastrophic or terminal illness such as cancer. The foundation has been able to provide grants for these families to help with the financial burden that these illnesses bring (assisting with day to day expenses, such as utilities, groceries, rent/mortgage, travel etc.).

Opportunity Details

Do you love event planning? Do you love to serve on a committee? If you said yes, I would love for you to join United Way of Northwest Alabama's Event Planning Committee.
We plan fundraisers, educational events, community conversation meetings and more. If you are creative, fun and enjoy event planning, I would love to hear from you.

Opportunity Details

4 person best ball scramble tournament. All funds received go to support Teen Challenge New Jersey and assist them in their mission. TC New Jersey exists to bring life changing hope to those who struggle with addiction and their families. For almost 60 Teen Challenge has been doing this with long-term residential programs for teens and adults regardless of their financial position.

Opportunity Details

This will be a BIG, all-day project with options for volunteer shifts. We will be doing several renewal projects for Apple Creek Elementary:

— Outdoor Classroom
— Picnic Area (tables + shade structure)
— Apple Creek Art Mural
— Painted Games on Concrete
— Three "Buddy Benches" for reading and hanging out
— Repaint Playground Equipment
— Repaint the Paw Prints on the school's driveway
— Trim + Mulch the Front Landscaping

Take a peek at the shifts and see which role and time fit your schedule best. Remember that Serve More Volunteers must be 16 Years Old to volunteer alone or be 12 Years Old and accompanied by a parent.
