The North Texas Walk Like MADD & 5K Dash engages communities across the area to raise critical mission funds, recruit MADD volunteers and educate and inspire the public to put an end to drunk driving. It is a meaningful experience that produces results in increasing supporters and visibility for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Walk Like MADD events are made possible by volunteers. We welcome event day volunteers to help with set-up, clean-up, registration, water stations and cheer squads. Individuals and groups of all sizes are welcome. Join us for our September 7th event in Irving, TX.

Opportunity Details

We are a 501c3 non profit that sends 115-130 care packages a month worldwide to children having surgery on their skull. We send fleece taggy blankets and also ribbon prayer chains which is 15 loops of ribbon with motivational sayings and words of encouragement. If you would like to either make blankets or ribbons, please sign up! We can order the supplies and have them sent to you!

Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to take your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for a child in your local hospital.

One Plus One Mother's of Multiples holds two Children's Clothing and and Toys Resales a year for our members and the community. The Resale provides an affordable way for the community to purchase new or good used condition children items. The profit the club obtains from the Resale helps us support our local and state philanthropies.

Our Walk to Cure Arthritis is the largest arthritis gathering in the world, celebrating our warriors, raising funds for research, resources and a cure. Much more than just a walk event, it’s something even bigger than arthritis itself.

Arthritis affects more than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children. They are warriors. They face relentless pain, a frustrating search for a diagnosis, multiple doctor’s visits and treatment, missed work and school, limited mobility, a maze of medical and insurance paperwork, and the desire to live a full life without the limitations that arthritis can create.

We need help the day of the event. There are many opportunities, different shifts.

Share a smile with a child in need of HOPE! Join the UPS Happy Hope Factory at 16 East Oregon Avenue in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, April 28th from 10:30am-1pm to package "Happy Hope Bag" activity kits for hospitalized children in your community. You will be creating and assembling hope bags guaranteed to deliver a boost of happiness and hours of activity. We can all be heroes, thank you for sharing hope.

Opportunity Details

The goal of this event is to raise money for the Children's Advocacy Alliance so that we can further our mission of providing hope, healing and a voice for justice for abused and neglected children in our community. Additional funding will allow us to recruit and train more volunteer advocates for our CASA program to work with children in the foster care system. It will allow our child advocacy center to provide more children with forensic interviews, family advocacy, mental health services and sexual assault exams.
