This event takes place during San Antonio FIESTA week and is a fun family-friendly event hosted by the CCHS Parents of Alumni Committee and by the entire Central Catholic Community.

This will be the 3rd Annual FangDango event held on the campus of Central Catholic and includes Food Booths, Live Music by Finding Friday, Games, and Entertainment for the kids. Bring the entire family!

All proceeds raised from this event will support scholarships, student programs, and building improvements.

At 4MyCiTy, Our focus is on the Importance of Environmental Sustainability. Primarily the Sustainable Management of Food in relation to reducing organic waste. Our program limits the harmful effects caused by organic waste on our environment while improving food security for families within our communities.

When you volunteer with us you will learn about how we rescue food on a daily basis and get it into the hands of families that need it. Additional educational opportunities will revolve round our environmental sustainability plan to divert food waste from our landfills and incinerators to our composting sites. We are looking for all types of talent to volunteer, come on in ad learn about us and help us to continue our amazing work.

GiGi's Playhouse Madison is hosting our first 5k FUN run, 1 mile inspirational walk, kids dash and festival to raise funds that will run FREE, educational and therapeutic programming for individuals with Down syndrome in the Madison area. We are 99% volunteer run and our families will never pay anything to attend these life changing programs and therapies. We rely on the generosity of our community to fund this programming through things like this awesome fundraiser!
We will need many volunteers the day of the event to assist with registration, running the festival and cheering on the runners and walkers.

After a two year hiatus, DMRF is returning to the Bronx Zoo for 2022 Bronx Dystonia Zoo Day and we are counting on Kohl's volunteer support. This is a family-friendly community day at the Zoo to raise awareness about dystonia, a devastating brain disease and to support the work of the DMRF. Participants are invited to walk as much or as little as they would like; there are no mileage goals and no pledge money needed to participate in the Walk. Volunteers from Kohl's supported this event 2016-2019.

Volunteers are needed to help greet tax clients and prepare taxes. Volunteers can choose to just be a greeter/intake volunteer or help prepare. VITA takes place each year from the beginning of February and ends on April 15th, unless the tax deadline is extended. The hours/days would be Monday-Thursday, 4 PM-8 PM. Flexible schedules! If you can only help 1 night a week, we can still use your help! Training provided.

Opportunity Details

We deliver to the Denver metro area three days a week, Wednesday through Friday. This is done by volunteers. Using your own vehicle, you pick up produce boxes and add-ons and deliver on a pre-made route. You communicate with customers, take pictures of the delivery, and are responsible for ensuring that their produce arrives in a timely and friendly fashion. Social Enterprises and social innovations are mission-driven projects that have leverage for impact. We have a diverse set of these, including collaborations with social businesses, investment funds, philanthropic programs, purpose-based communities, and other initiatives that represent values-based and regenerative economic models for the 21st century.

Role Summary: 
Reporting to the Meta volunteer of the People Management Team, Sourcing Operation Specialist is an integral part in the success of CrowdDoing. The Sourcing Operation Specialist will work to provide support to the People Management Team. Our Sourcing Operation Specialist possess the following competencies self-starter attitude, strategic, action oriented, quick learner, comfortable utilizing virtual communication methods, tech-savvy, multitasker, and strong communication skills.

 

Essential Tasks: 
· Responsible for posting on various job posting websites.

· Sends initial contact emails to applicants advising them of the next steps.

· Ensure all applicants are entered into applicant tracking system under appropriate vacancy.

· Reviews all roles to ensure applicant has not applied to multiple roles before forwarding it to the respective HRBP, to eliminate duplicate interviews.

· Forward all volunteer applications to the appropriate area for interview.

· Responsible for maintaining volunteer Match and other website postings for accurate and clear role analyses.

· Regularly update a job description bank of all roles being posted online via HRBPs

· Maintain a consolidated up to date tracker of all potential applicants in Volunteer Match.

· Assist with exit management process.

 

Skills & Competencies:
· Minimum of 4 hours volunteer engagement per week

· Human Resources degree or experience preferred

· Highly collaborative style; experience working in a virtual environment highly preferred
