Support STEM education opportunities by reviewing community, school and student team applications for funding. Grant review volunteers are an important part of our award process, helping to provide the most high-quality STEM opportunities for students and educators all across Idaho!

This is a great opportunity to see what Idaho educators are proposing for their learning environments and to help support student competition travel. The review process typically takes 4-12 hours over the course of 2-3 weeks. Rubrics are provided to help guide your scoring.

Using the information you provide, an account will be created in your name on the Idaho STEM Action Center’sCommunity Grants Portal (if you don't already have one). We are in need of volunteers to review community resources as it relates to HTC's services to evaluate the need for a possible expansion into surrounding counties not already served by HTC. We request that the volunteer(s) spend time with us at HTC to understand how and what we do in order to do an accurate survey. Remaining time would be an offsite as needed.

We are getting ready for our 2019 NICU Baby Showers at 20 hospitals in the Greater Los Angeles Area. These baby showers provide a celebratory moment for families that are in the NICU that have not had a chance to have their own baby shower before their baby was born.

This opportunity will be focusing on wrapping up the donated presents and baby items we have collected for these events. There will be some moving/lifting of boxes, so please come dressed comfortably (jeans/tshirts ok!).

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for more than one shift, if they are able.
