The Simi Valley Music and Funtasy Festival is an annual event hosted by The Simi Valley Arts Alliance to benefit the people of Simi Valley and surrounding areas. All proceeds from the event go to promote our mission. Our mission is to encourage, promote and aid local artists and arts entities. We are a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing resources, programs and services to our arts community. Our goal is to create and sustain a collaborative and cohesive environment that supports the arts within the community.

Dates: Saturday and Sundays Nov 3, 4, 10 and 11. 9:30 am to 5 PM

$15 at the gate, $12 online. Children 12 and under are free.

Location: Simi Valley Civic Center Park, near Simi Valley Public Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley.

This fundraiser is to provide music opportunities to the community children. We have donated over $60,000 worth of musical instruments and over $40,000 to local school choral programs.

Share a smile with someone special! Join the Happy Hope Factory packaging "Happy Hope Bags" for hospitalized children in your community. Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to ship your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for a child in your local hospital.

Opportunity Details

Camp Kidney is no small undertaking. The children attending have been in and out of the hospital for years, some for their entire lives. Most kids with kidney disease take up to 20 pills a day and undergo dialysis treatments every night.

But Camp Kidney addresses all of those challenges. It’s wonderful on so many levels....

Every aspect of the children’s medical care is included in an environment designed around fun. At Camp Kidney, kids get to “just be kids,” fishing, zip-lining, riding horses, shooting arrows, you name it!

Campers build great friendships. They relate to each other, and naturally form their own “support groups”. These special relationships don’t end when camp is over. The kids still encourage each other, months and years down the road!

How can you help?
We are in need of some amazing volunteers to help entertain our campers after they have registered for Camp Kidney. The registration process can be a long and tiring process, but once it is completed - we are all on our way to camp!
Please join us from 7 am to noon at Phoenix Children's Hospital (Cohen Center) to play games, color, and just have fun with the kids until it is time to leave for camp. What's better than that?
