Ayiti Now Corp is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Miami, Florida and created for empowering marginalized Haiti children of poverty through our educational programs.

Role brief: The Project Manager for Grants is a virtual volunteer position that reports to the Fundraising Project Manager. The P.M. of Grants will be responsible for managing, coordinating and improving on aspects of grant work (grant writing teams, grant research teams, analysts, proofwriters) while working under Fundraising P.M.s and with Project Managers from other core functions in order to realize the Fundraising goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

? Holds grant teams responsible for grant work
? Evaluates grant work and deals with feedback to optimize results
? Onboards, manages and engages grant team members
? Leads grant team meetings to coordinate grant writing, researching efforts and take feedback
? Partners with Marketing, H.R. and other core teams to advance fundraising goals
? Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

? Fluent in spoken and written English, able to communicate clearly and consistently
? Reliable internet connection a must
? Previous management experience in grants with non-profits preferred
? Knowledge and familiarity with grant research, grant writing areas as well as partnering with institutional donors preferred
? Bachelor’s Degree required, finance background preferred
? Minimum volunteer hours expected: 15 hrs per week
? Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, clear, motivated self-starter with the ability to understand fundraising while working independently in a fast-paced and task-heavy environment
? Familiarity with or quick adoption of Trello and Slack tools important
? Able to effectively communicate horizontally with management, Fundraising Project Managers and responsible teams and laterally with other Project Managers of other core teams on a regular basis
? Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc.
