Opportunities for individuals who are passionate about animals and the environment to serve on a committee or the board for Main Line Animal Rescue. We need people to help plan events, host fundraisers, implement the Main Line Animal Rescue Strategic Plan and be an ambassador in the community.

Books for a Better World is hosting its second annual Indiana Battle of the Books competition for the Evansville Area, April 5th & 6th 2018. Indiana Battle of the Books is an academic extracurricular reading activity for 4th and 5th grade students who enjoy reading challenges and competition. Its purpose is to foster the enjoyment of reading high quality books and to come together in friendly competition. There are a series of battles (in separate classrooms) in which two teams face each other at a time to answer questions about the books.
Our biggest need for volunteers is Assistant Moderators & Registration help. Assistant Moderators are timekeepers for the Moderators, who will be asking the questions to the teams.
