We are a non-profit organization coordinating a network of local volunteers to assist our members with everyday life.
Transportation is our number one service requested, given that many of our members can no longer drive. Getting out and about is a necessary and integral part of maintaining a healthy, happy life. These local trips often take less than 30 minutes and volunteers can choose to do just one-way if not both ways.
Daytime Drivers- Volunteers are needed throughout the week to drive members to/from medical appointments, social events, beauty shop/barber, the grocery store, and assist with other general errands.
Weekend Drivers - Volunteers are needed to drive members to/from religious services, the grocery store, and assist with other general errands.
Mileage reimbursement is also available for volunteers who drive older adults in the community.

As Canada's oldest air cadet squadron, we have train approx. 200 young Canadians between the ages of 12 and 18 years every year. Our Squadron Sponsoring Committee is responsible for raising funds to cover aspects of the program not covered by the Department of National Defence. Our committee is seeking individuals to help us with bookkeeping/finances, fundraising activities, and administrative tasks. Anyone with expertise in these areas would be very welcome as one of our volunteers. This is an incredible youth program that offers wonderful and challenging opportunities to participants regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. As the largest and most diverse cadet unit on the island of Montréal, we have the opportunity to make positive impacts on hundreds of young people, some of whom come from challenging personal situations. We strive to offer a safe space for everyone to achieve their full potential in an environment free from racism, sexism or any other form of discrimination. We have a dedicated staff of 15 CIC Reserve Officers and Civilian Instructors, and a sponsoring committee that offers indirect support for our program.
Volunteers can expect to participate in a monthly committee meeting, with deliverables for each member to be established and carried out on a flexible schedule based on the availability of the volunteers.

Can you help some cowgirls develop their brand? In order to increase our impact in the world of horse rescue and education, we need to capture people's attention- volunteer and donor support is the foundation of our work.We have a logo, and we know who we are and what we value but we don't know how to give it a "voice" in printed media and online.
If you're someone with experience in marketing and a heart for our work, reach out- we'd love to tell you about our history and future and what we are looking for.
We aren't looking for someone to dump years of work on, we have a few key items we'd like help with:
--a tagline/key message that resonates with the public
--some brief, reusable content for fundraisers and events
--design of a pamphlet and/or poster we can use to educate the public
If you're still reading this you surely know the marketing space better than us, so reach out and let's talk. You can do this work virtually and we promise to be super appreciative and respect your knowledge!
If you are simply interested in building a career in marketing, social media, etc- this may be the resume builder you need.

Fundraiser needed. We're a friendly, casual group and we don't pressure our supporters or use scare tactics to get donations, but we have horses to feed and care for and could use assistance in raising funds for hay, veterinary costs, equipment (like solar panels to prevent water troughs from freezing in winter) and so on.We’d love a volunteer to run fundraising (online events, fundraisers, raffles, etc.) in compliance with state and federal laws. We're a fun group and share a passion for horses and rescue, and we think you'll find this role really rewarding as 100% of the donations go straight to the horses and we have someone to do our books/accounting so you don't have to do that.
Our organization accounts are set up and ready, we just need some help putting some funds in to support the work we do.

The Club is expecting to stay open, even if the Camden School District goes to Virtual Learning, therefore we will need to replenish the school supplies we distributed to families on March 17th when we went to our Stay At Home Order. Since then, we distributed all our games, books, toys and have done numerous food distributions and provided much needed cleaning supplies to a dozen families in severe need. We will be doing a Shoe Drive Fundraiser, so collecting new and gently used shoes would be extremely helpful. If we can have someone help coordinate and get the word out that would be ideal. We need more cleaning supplies to give to our needy families. Making cards and encouraging pictures/messages for the children & families about wearing masks, washing hands and social distancing is really important! Please help us slow the spread of COVID-19 and fill the needs in Camden. Thank you!Available Shifts
